Here're some more links to help save money.

craigslist -- I've mentioned this site before but feel it bears repeating. There're more than 550 sites in all 50 states and over 50 countries with free local ads and forums. Only job postings in a small number of cities are charged a fee. Be sure to check out the "free" section in their "for sale" area.

eBay -- This is another site I've referred to before but feel it also merits a repeat. As you probably already know, this is THE world's largest online marketplace. Check it out to find bargains on just about anything.

Freecycle -- The Freecycle Network has over 4,000 groups with more than  6 million members. It's a "grassroots, nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns." The goal is to recycle/keep things out of landfills.

healthfinder -- This site has lots of accurate, unbiased health information. Keeping healthy can not only save money but also a lot of suffering.

MedlinePlus -- This is another site with loads of accurate, unbiased health information.

Tucows -- Here's a safe, reputable site with a huge selection of software you can download. Most of it's free or very low cost.

Virtual University -- VU is "the Internet's oldest learning community and a pioneer in Web-based education." They charge a flat $20.00 registration fee per term and let students take up to four classes at once with most not requiring any textbooks.
